Alohana Realty LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We believe everyone in Hawaii — and anywhere else — should be able to access information about real estate, property management, and the other services we offer, regardless of how they use the web.

Our standard

Our website is designed and developed to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice as the benchmark for web accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities — including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these.

What we've done

To improve accessibility, our website includes:

  • Logical heading structure for screen reader navigation

  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive features
  • Form labels and error messages that work with assistive technology

Third-party content

Our website includes content provided by third parties — including MLS property listings, embedded maps, and third-party plugins. While we choose vendors with accessibility in mind, we cannot guarantee that all third-party content meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If you encounter a barrier with third-party content, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help you access the information you need through another channel.

Ongoing efforts

Accessibility isn’t a checkbox — it’s an ongoing commitment. We periodically review our website and update content, design, and code to maintain and improve accessibility as standards evolve and as we learn from user feedback. If we identify a barrier we can’t fix immediately, we work toward a solution and offer alternative ways to access the information in the meantime.
